Dear Friends on Irandefence,
Hello and greetings to all in this forum. I am new here. I have quite accidentally found your excellent forum, which gave me hope that someone would perhaps be able to assist me with my question.
I haven't found a section devoted to uniforms and symbols, so I thought the History section would be the most appropriate to share my problem.
I am interested in the history of orders and medals of the world. For a long time have I been looking for information about the current awards of the Islamic Republic of Iran. I have been searching the Internet, but I without much success so far. I believe there is information there in Farsi, but as I do not speak this language (I am from Poland), I am not able to find it.
I will owe you a lot for any information regarding the current system of Iranian awards. I know there is the Order of the Islamic Republic of Iran, intended for foreign nationals, and the Decoration of Zolfaghar, which is a military award, but I would love to know more.
I would be particularly thankful for the photos of Iranian awards, but ANY information form you will be more than welcomed.
