So what, they will never take such an offer. They want nuclear arms and that means the enrichment can only be done in the country.

Iran don't want or need nuclear weapons, a country with brain don't need to use it's muscles in such degree, targeting and killing civilians are not on our agenda, only criminals would use wmds.

I hope it goes through, it will keep them off those damn western powers that are ready for a war.

Maybe it could be so that Iran will try to formulate an equation where she will accept enriching uranium in Russian soil untill the 20 planned nuclear power plants are constructed and utilized..after that the uranium enrichment will be executed domesticly due to the economical bennefits of it..and at the same time being allowed to maintain a smal scale enrichment facility for research purposes untill the 20 N-pwer plants are put in to operation..
Iran will gain a lot of economical, security and political bennefits from such compromise..
And if there is a political will towards military use of the nuclear issue, to deter foreign hostile ellements, there is nothing that can stop the wheels that has been set to spin..
Only time can reveal those possibilities..

But threaten to wipe Israel from the Map (Pretty funny plan if you compare Israels capabilities compared to Irans) and denying Holocaust is on the Agenda?
And if Iran would really be concerned about energy they would research other possibilities like geothermal, Wind or solar.

His statement was politically motivated to wake antizionist organisations such as Hamas. Erasing Israel from the map could mean reducing occupied territories and you can do it through combining media(cold war),politics, economy and finally military actions. Bombing Israel would mean attacking many muslims and one of our holiest mosques, am I right?
I believe Iran is reseaching future possibilities, however why not use our leagal right for something that is proven to be efficient and stable. Do you even know what nuclear technology can be used for? Radiation therapy for Cancer , Water cleaning, Unlimted fuel for engines used in ships, spacecrafts, submarines etc

I know it very well, and as well I know these Technologies dont need any Reactors or enrichment technology to be developed. Nuclear powered Satellites arent used or built any more, and same goes for Ships and Subs. And I dont think Iran will need any carriers or nuclear powered Subs.

they have wind and has developed solar to, much we all know that the west want be the only power who have this tecnologi so later they can sell enerji to iran but if iran has it they would take market from them.

Iran plant 'has restarted its nuclear bomb-making equipment'
Filed: 11/02/2006
Iran's controversial Natanz uranium processing plant has successfully restarted the sophisticated equipment that could enable it to produce material for nuclear warheads, according to reports received by Western intelligence.
An aerial view of the Natanz plant
In the past few days Iranian nuclear scientists have reportedly restarted four of the centrifuges required to produce weapons-grade uranium, and have begun feeding them with uranium hexafluoride (UF6) gas, a key component in the production of nuclear bombs.
This crucial development follows Iran's decision to withdraw its co-operation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna after the body decided last week to refer Iran to the United Nations Security Council.
Iranian officials have moved quickly to obstruct the work of the UN nuclear inspectors still working in the country's nuclear facilities.
Intelligence officials say restrictions have been imposed on the inspectors' movements between the various facilities at Natanz.
They have been specifically excluded from those areas where the Iranians have announced they would resume uranium enrichment, and have ordered the UN inspectors to report to officials running the plant on a daily basis. Security cameras installed by IAEA officials to monitor key facilities have been disabled.
Having effectively excluded the UN inspection teams from the most sensitive sites, Iranian nuclear scientists have removed the seals from the P-2 centrifuges that Iran acquired from Pakistan through the secret nuclear network operated by Dr A Q Khan, the "father" of Pakistan's nuclear bomb.
They have also begun installing tanks in underground bunkers that are designed for industrial enrichment.
In previous submissions to the UN inspectors, the Iranians insisted they had acquired the P-2 centrifuges merely for research purposes, They have continued to insist that their nuclear programme is solely aimed at developing alternative energy sources.
However, a senior Western intelligence official said: "Iran's recent activity is a clear escalation of its attempts to enrich uranium to weapons grade. With the UN inspectors out of the way they are basically free to do as they please."

Putin Optimistic Iran Will Return To Nuclear Control Mechanism
AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE
Wed, 1 Mar 2006, 01:00
Budapest, Hungary: Russia is optimistic that Iranian negotiators will agree to return to an international protocol limiting Tehran's nuclear activities, Russian President Vladimir Putin said here Tuesday. "We are optimists and consider we can come to an agreement with our Iranian interlocutors about returning Iran to the additional protocol," Putin said during a visit to Hungary.
"We can agree also on setting up a joint venture on Russian territory ... for enrichment of uranium for the nuclear industry of Iran," Putin said at a news conference.
The additional protocol of the International Non-Proliferation Treaty concerns the right of international inspectors to examine Iran's nuclear activities, a key demand of the West, which suspects Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons.
Russia has proposed setting up a joint venture with Iran that would enrich uranium on Russian soil for Tehran, a proposal Moscow hopes would allay Western concerns.
Iranian officials were due to hold talks on the proposal in Moscow on Wednesday as time runs out ahead of a crucial March 6 meeting of the board of governors of the UN's nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Association.
That meeting is due to decide whether to move debate on the Iran nuclear issue to the UN Security Council, which can impose economic sanctions.
