An independent unmanned combat aircraft is not something common before 2040 at least.

Really? then i heard differently, i heard that the F-22 and JSF-35 (that many in the IAF say it will probably be the last manned air craft the IAF will have) will be the last manned air crafts, you can already see how many UAV's are being armed for ground attacks, rumor has it the IAF also have an armed UAV except of the Harpy.

We have 5 ( the known ones ) varients of UCAV, israeli-weapons.com didn't upgraded for couple of years, this information is lack from there.

Harpy is a great suicider, but its not a real UCAV.

the US wished they were good at UAV's UCAV's like us.

there're already discussions with Lockheed Martin about reduction of the F-16I's to save the money for the F-35.

i guess when it will be out 1 year US aid will go to those jets which is about 50 F-35, than we will add our money and might purchase about 160.
there're areticles about the JSF in our newspapers all the time, israel will get them, it is not even a question.
They're already speaking about which systems we don't want so we can place our own, which are better.
Elta already made some prototypes for the F-35 Radar, and some electronic systems of the original raptor came from IAI and ELTA.

America wouldn't mind selling any plane to israel as long as there was no pressure and Israel actually paid the full amount instead of adding to their already huge debt, Israel is going down America's path in the debt route, soon they will find like USA they are unable to pay the debt in a short time back and it will just keep on and on growing.

Anyways, i think Saudi has the best planes, Israel can upgrade all the F16's and F16I's they want, the Eurofighter is currently the best plane in the middle east, owned by Saudi and soon Turkey.

I dont know, i think an F-16I with all of the upgrades armed with python 5 missiles, derby and lastest litening pod aswell with well trained pilot should oppose a greta rival to the euro fighter, i have heard alot of things about the saudi's that they have the money but not the brain but i must admit i never got down to the issue though.

EuroFighter is no better than F-16I.
Specially not with the missiles Israel is operate and the pilots that inside.

America aids Israel financially, militarily and economically, they also loan them money, this money is no longer FREE aid but interest free! Israel is in debt, and in alot of debt too considering their entire GDP.

Euro fighter is better than F16I in every way, it's like comparing a F4 with a F16I or F15, they are simply no match! Saudi pilots have been trained by America for years and years now on modern American equipment, they are no longer as bad as they used to be, anyways you don't have to be the best to shoot down an F16I with a Euro fighter, until Israel gets a whole lot of F22's, on a small scale dog fight they most likely will get owned by the Arab Euro fighters, but in a large scale war / dogfight Israel would win because of the huge number of plane fleet they have Which was meant for Iran :mad:

Eurofighter is not a Stealth Aircraft,
doesn't have any Digital equimpment that israelis F16D\I or F15I's doesn't have.
and leave the fact that the israelis systems of those aircrafts are 2 times better for the Desert, which is where dogfights between us an the arabs will take place.
Besides the Eurofighter Super Cruise capabillity which wont help againts israelis, it doesn't have any thing the israelis aircrafts does not.


only 2 F16's from the IAF was almost shipped to Iran.
Iran ordered 160, 2 of them was almost shipped, the rest 158 was painted in the IAF scheme from the beginning.

First of all, yes Israel has debt to the US. But unlike what many want to think, Israel is a pretty stable and well off state and we pay our debt regularly.
