Just wondering, because I've heard practically nothing about it. What aircraft comprise the elements of Iranian Navy Aviation. I understand the Persian Gulf presents some unique challenges to sonar systems as well. Does Iran prefer the more effective in shallow water Medium PFR sonars?

I don't even know if Iran has any Naval Aircraft at all besides a few MIL-8 or what ever those helicopters are.

Navy of Iran and Revolutionary Guard Navy section have aircrafts. and helicopeters Not for sures which ones friend :)
