A pic of a Dingo 1 that drove over an At-mine in Afghanistan. The mine exploded directly under the engine blowing it several meters away.
The crew of six staid unharmed, showing the great protection level of this vehicle.

I wonder how a Humvee would have looked after this sor of incident.

The HMMWV lacks the "V" shaped hull that assists deflection of a mine or IED blast away from the vehicle’s interior. The americans are trying to add armor to their vehicels but the HMMWV remains a death trap when you drive over a at-mine or big IED, it was simply not designed for that job.
So i would asume the explosion would kill or seriously wound the crew...
The US plans to replace all HMMWVs in combat zones with vehicles like the Dingo.

Isn´t NAMER a tracked APC on Merkeva chasis?
Thats a total differnt class of vehicle and has nothing in common with the DINGO. Compare NAMER with PUMA or BOXER...

ur right. my bad. but the NAMER supposed to have great performance, so he it can be used for a lot of mission, with good firepower (but high weight).

the GOLAN looks nice , but i would prefer to see the dingo in IDF

Could you explain more? what kinda politics makes germany give israel subs but not IFVs or APCs ?

becasue it will be used against terrorists and may kill people.

So germany doesnt want to sell israel anything that can kill "terrorists" ? German subs can kill in groups of hundreds i guess in case o f an actual war.

btw judging by your post in US vs China , i think you're mainly here to entertain us. keep on the good work

If it's based on merkava's chassis , it's a heavy APC and should be compared to the other brilliant israeli innovation achzarit.

*EDIT - the "brilliant" is a joke , i hope you got it

Well this one does look spartan and military. Also, don't German vehicles have these kind of consoles for their remote-controlled MG turrets?
