hi,
I'm a German currently living in Britain.

I was considering joining the Bundeswehr in a couple of years.
Can you guys tell me more about it? pay? conditions? leave? etc.

Do you guys also know if the Bundeswehr would finance my university studies if, in return, I join the Bundeswehr for a couple of years?

i have no idea about the service terms and the wages but i know that you can study at the bundeswehr for free while you go on recieving your wage. but as i heard there are just a few things that are worth studying at the bw.

The pay depends on your rank and status, i remember as a conscript the pay was something around 600-700 Euro.
As a non conscript "Berufs-" or "Zeitsoldat" the pay is mutch higher, starting with ca. 1200 Euro and then raising with your rank.

Yes the BW does this. I know that you can e.g. study medecine or BWL but than you have to stay with the Bundeswehr for ca. 10 years.
The cool thing is that your rank automatically rises with the progress of your studies, even when your not really in the Bundeswehr(because of your study). So you will start your active duty as a "Leutnant" with a good pay and some soldiers to command...
Hope i could help.
