Understand there is various ideas on how many are operational. 1 x crashed...
2 x used for parts... 3 still operational ?? noticed some sites say 2 operational. Understand most likely got parts grey / black arms mkt and "Iran Contra" ... Which ones has anyone seen doing patrols lately based on tail numbers. Do they belong to IRINAVY or IRIAF?
What are capabilities? ASW...
My last question is I know the Iranians conduct Maritime Patrols with the P3Fs and Fokker F27-400m aircraft, what aircraft are they planning to use to replace these aging aircraft? AN-140?? if so what type of ASW?
