My name is Chris. I am Florida State University sophmore who is double majoring in Computer Science and Mathmatics with a minor in modern languages. I am currently in the Marine Corps Officer program, where I have the "rank" of Candidate.

I can get offended easily by reading certain topics that deal with putting down the military or just by reading something by an ignorant person. I hate people who are ignorant, just as much as a I hate the hippies here on campus. But I will try my best to have a nonbiased approach to all topics, and give my input where needed. I look forward to being on the threads....see yall there.

I am not allowed to answer that question. lol, jk jk.

I have yet to get into the upper level classes for CS, but I do know we are sponsered by the NSA and the CIA and some other branch's of the government. I think the army pays our chemistry department, cause I kno they invented some kind of better kevlar last year...but I do not know if the military funds us.

I mean you, not the university! :)

I am funded by the MOD here in uk for my course as long as i work in the MOD after in the AI branch for robotics. So they pay for my fees + extra spending money while i study at university (to finish my MSC [Masters]).

For you who is already in the army its a very smart thing to get sponsored by the army to do your course! Not sure if they do it at your country though!

I'm not in the army, im in the Marine Corps! :p

But I actually do get paid for doing all this. Every summer I get $4,000 for the OCS courses, and then i get a stipen of $300 every month.
