Hi there, folks
I'm a student of Political Science and History from Germany and specifically interested in the Middle East.
I plan on learning Arabic in autumn and travel to the region after graduating, so I am looking forward to some good debating and to getting to know some interesting people...
Politically speaking, I'd describe myself as a non-violent anarchist, but I am not an ideologue, but rather pretty distrustful of ANY kind of authority (be it political, economical, traditional, religious, etc..) and of course directly opposed to imperialism, nationalism, fascism, zionism, fanaticism and all other sorts of bad -isms :)
For those who know him, Noam Chomsky is one of few people who I truly admire, mostly because of his intelligence, wisdom and especially his humility!
Concerning religion, I find bhuddism the most wise one, but at if it comes down to the basics, all major religions have the right message (ultimatly it comes down to being peaceful and caring), they just get used for political purposes.
I adamantly believe that all people are equal and all differences we have are merely social constructs that keep us from realizing that.
Everyone has their own "reality tunnel", so nobody can really be right, because everyone (!) is biased.
