die mig29 die polen von deutschland bekommen hat fallen fast schon auseinander und die paar f16 die sie sich neulich gekauft haben könnens nicht mit einer f22, eurofighter oder einer su27 aufnehmen...

hab ich... polen hat zwar massig militärische hardware

( * 1010 Tanks,
* 3506 Armoured fighting vehicle/APC,
* 1322 Artillery (120mm or greater),
* 214 Army Helicopters
* 143 Fighter Aircraft
* 232 FGA/Training Aircraft
* 173 Transport/Helicopter )
aber eben auch wenig high tech...

ausserdem hab ich nie gesagt dass die polnische armee schlecht ist :P

its an upgraded polish version called ZSU-23-4MP "Biała"...
i think the thing on top is the new digital optical targeting system...

I think they will remain in service they have no plans of retiring them, I mean they just purchased them from Germany and upgraded them, they probably going to retire their SU-22's.

After the retirement of their MiG-21 and MiG-23 jets in 2003, Poland was left for a time with only 22 MiG-29s in the fighter role. They brought 23 ex-Luftwaffe MiG-29s. But they are now geting new 48 F-16's from US and it doesn't have any sense that they will have 36 Mig-29's and 48 F-16!!! :confused2:Isnt that overmuch??? I think that they will only keep Mig-29G's in service afther they receve all F-16s.:worried2::worried2:

i dont think so too.
the mig 29 actually is a good plane and a great interceptor.
plus: they were built in 1988, so they "only" are 20 years old, which is like 10 years less than many of the USAF's f15...

Exactly and as far as I'm informed they went through some sort of upgrade once t Polish got them, and once they retire their SU-22's they will only have MiG-29's & F-16's in their air force which means around 100 fighters.

They went through some sort of upgrade after they got the ones form Germany as well but I dunno what modernization this exactly was.
The ones they received from Germany they were already upgraded to NATO standards.
