TEHRAN, Oct. 12 (MNA) – National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has changed the official prices on varieties of its oil to destinations in Asia and Europe, ISNA (Iranian Students News Agency) reported on Wednesday.
The prices of Iran’s light and heavy crude for delivery in November, to some of its customers in Asian countries, will decrease by 20-50 cents per barrel, whereas, the prices of the commodity to be delivered from the Kharg Island to European countries will increase by 40 to 42 cents.
The NIOC has also announced that the prices of Iran’s light crude to be delivered from Kharg to Mediterranean destinations will be 65-80 cents above the prices in the current month, October; Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) quoted a statement by the NIOC.
The prices of varieties of Iran’s oil for the European destinations is always determined at the IPE (International Petroleum Exchange), based on the Brent crude weighed average price (BWAVE), and in the Asian markets is set according to the average prices of Dubai and Oman crude oils, the report further commented.
