Iran and Sudan

I've often read that, in the beginning of the nineties, Iran sent many Pasadaran (Guards of the Islamic Revolution) in Sudan to train the police and the army of Khartum. But other sources (more recent), claim that it's Russia who trains the Sudanese police and army. Who tells the truth? What is the status and the nature of the current relationship between Tehran and Khartum?

Sudans gouverment asked Iran to send troops, Iran did so and Russia also did, both trained police en army.

there are quds forces operating in sudan, if you check wikipedia it also states so.. ( for those that find wiki as a reasonable reliable source )
