I would like to know what you all thing of the situation going on in Darfur.
Here in America, all we hear from the major media(where 95% of Americans get their news and information) is Muslim Arabs are killing Black Africans.
George Clooney and other Hollywood stars always mention the "Arab" Janjaweed as it's been hammered into their brains to do so.....It has me thinking.
SaveDarfur and all these organizations which are run by Jews seem to be squeezing anti- Arab propaganda in between their mission to help...The average American won't really bother to even look deeper into what is going on.
Here is a good link summarizing the sitution.

I'm in no way trying to make what is going on seem less imporant,I just find it funny how no mater what Jews do,they find a way to squeeze their anti-Arab agenda into it.

By looking at Sudan, I think it is a weak vast country where every tribe/group of tribes/political movement wants to control a piece of land of its own, it's happening in the east, west, and south.
After south Sudan fought for years against what they called injustice from the north, the government of South Sudan is now full of corruption, is that what they really fought for ?
I think the war in Sudan is essentially between warlords where everybody wants to win a piece of the cake (that is Sudan).

I don't know much about the subject. I've also noticed it's never really discussed on this site :err2: I think it should be discussed more on this site because of its importance and Sudan's Arab and Muslim identity.

i think the problem with dafur is a general one.
can the international community intervene altough sudan is a souvereign country?
i tink this is quiet a big problem.
you have to weigh up the world's interest in human rights with sudan's right to sovereignity.

Here in the west there's a big campaign going on by celebrities, etc to prevent 'genocide' in Darfur. Especially in USA I think.

See the broader Picture and ask questions and answer to urself .When Sudan and Chad got Independence and are there any disputes among themselves ?
The problem in Africa is this that every African Country , supports rebels against each other and if u see Chad supports rebels in Sudan and Sudan supports rebels in Chad .
As Darfur is so closed to the Chad border , Chad is heavily involved in supporting darfur rebels , So when this Darfur turn into conflict ? From 2001
When Oil reserves were found in Sudan ?
Oil was discovered in Sudan in late 1978 by US company Chevron .
Oil reserves were discovered in darfur way back in 90's .
Try to read this site and while reading think that u r an Asian , u will get urs all answer how bad are international politics and how much greed is there from the companies who are not getting big shares from this part of the world .
