I liked it at first but it just seems too balanced to me. Besides the differences between Russian and EU/US heavy arty, all the units are exactly the same.

I've been wating for a game like that to come out. I love hearing people's opinions on the world's two greatest superpowers going to war and I really wanted to know who would win. I will definately guy this game.

The balance is good in my opinion as it actually forces players to use real Tactics instead of spamming 1 unit. Oh and its the Soviet union, USA, and Britian, Germany and France as N.A.T.O.

Not really either to be honest. But I'd say more CoH than CC3.

- There's no base building at all
- You gain points over time which you spend to purchase units which are delivered to your drop zone
- The more units you have, the slower you gain points
- You gain tactical points through combat and capturing points, which you can use on special abilities. IE paratroopers, airstrikes, nukes, etc.
- Each team has 4 roles with a max of 8 players. Air, Infantry, Armor, and Support. Each player chooses one role and controls the units of that role only.

As Orie said, the game was fun for a bit, but the sides are almost exactly the same aside from different artillery types. It's balanced well, yeah, but CoH managed to pull off pretty good balance with vastly different sides. That's my main issue with the game. All sides play and feel almost exactly the same.

they are pretty much like in any realtime strategy game. and there is an excellent tutorial. shouldnt be a problem :)

my friend have played it and he says it's a great game. i think it's like the game ground control. i also heard that you can't have many tanks. only 5-6. i think that's quite boring if it is that way. you can't feel the power. i loved C&C generals when you could attack with 50-100 tanks. that felt so good.

You could just download it for free from www.piratebay.org or DC++, but of course that is illegal, so I wouldn't advice it.

I just bought a new laptop with a GeForce 8600M GT, so I'm looking forward to play this game on high resolution with full details when I get it. I tried playing the demo on my other computer, but it was too laggy, so I gave up.

You do have a choice. You can either flash your DVD-driver so you can play illegal games or you can order a chip installation. I wouldn't advice any though.

On top of that if you have access to USENET and a fast internet connection, you can get any games you like with a DL rate of 10mb/s.

What??? I would never in my wildest imagination encourage people to download illegal games! Downloading illegal files is the same as stealing.

Think about it, if a lot of people start downloading... let's say a new album made by U2 then poor old Bono will probably ONLY earn 80 millions instead of 120 millions each year, so yeah... I would never do that. :D

i have played the game now. it's not my type of strategi game since you only can have 5 tanks at a time which doesn't give you the power feeling. that's why i don't like it. but other than that it's a good game.

I don't agree, but perhaps that's because I have only played this game a few hours during the weekends.

I just completed the campaign mission and I have to say this game has been an incredible experience. I understand why the Russians and the Chinese would get disgusted by the story line and the political agenda behind the game, but if one can take the game for all that it is and nothing more, it will be quite entertaining to play just like the special effects in the movie 300 is worth to watch.

We need to stop being so sensitive and enjoy the products for what they are. If all the propaganda starts to penetrate our membranes, it is our own fault for not educating ourselves better.

An alright RTS but does not compare to CoH or even DoW. The NATO units were cool, but other than that it wasn't a very good looking game. The paradrop system feels empty and the call-in support is just bland(except for the percision arty, that is nice)
