Player of the Day: Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez is your man of the moment with a mark of 8.10. Thierry Henry takes the gong for best player in Barcelona's win over Rangers, despite playing volleyball for the first goal, and at Henry's former club Theo Walcott somehow holds off Manuel Almunia with a mark of 6.57 to 6.52.

As for the marriage of the day, James Perryman said yes. That's official.
AS THE GROUPS STAND
Group E: There is daylight in the points column between Barcelona and Rangers and Walter Smith's men are just a point ahead of Lyon. They meet in the final group game at Ibrox. Stuttgart are done for. No points and out of everything.
Group F: Manchester United are the only team with a 100% record in the competition and are in the next round. Roma could overhaul them, but will be more concerned with holding off Sporting to go through in second. Dynamo Kiev could still get in the Uefa Cup.
Group G: Inter Milan and Fenerbahce are out in front on nine and eight points respectively. PSV Eindhoven and CSKA Moscow are off the pace with four points and one point respectively. It goes to show you shouldn't have initials before your name. Just ask VfB Stuutgart for confirmation.
Group H: Arsenal secured the draw they needed in Prague to progress to the last 16, but Sevilla are just a point behind them now with a meeting in Andalucia next up on the fixture list. That should decide who goes through as group winners. Slavia Prague look good for the Uefa Cup as Steaua Bucharest look good for nothing.

“I must say, Edmund, it was jolly nice of you to ask me to share your breakfast before the rigours of the day begin.”
“Well, it is said, Percy, that civilised man seeks out good and intelligent company, so that, through learned discourse, he may rise above the savage and closer to God.”
“Yes, I've heard that.”

Mesmerizing Didier Drogba leads Chelsea to their first Champions League final as his double strike clinches a 3-2 win against Liverpool.
In Wednesday's semi-final second leg Drogba gave Chelsea the lead in the first half at Stamford Bridge before Fernando Torres sent the tie into extra-time.
In an emotional return Frank Lampard, playing for the first time since his mother died of pneumonia on Thursday, beat Pepe Reina with his penalty in the 98th minute after Sami Hyypia had brought down Michael Ballack in the area.
With Liverpool on the ropes Drogba delivered the killer blow and Ryan Babel's late strike couldn't stop Chelsea sealing a 4-3 aggregate triumph.
Chelsea will meet Manchester United in the final in Moscow on May 21.

Drogba madness, Terry sadness
Forlorn figure... Chelsea captain John Terry will be remembered for his penalty miss in Moscow [AFP]
It was a match that had everything.
A well-taken header to open the scoring. A scrambled equaliser just before the break. Tensions between the sides leading to a red card. Extra time and a penalty shoot-out. Penalty saves and misses, triumph and tragedy.
John Terry, captain of his side, had the chance to win Chelsea's first ever Champions League title with a single kick but slipped and sent his penalty attempt wide, with Manchester United keeper Edwin van der Sar diving the other way.
Although it was Nicolas Anelka's penalty that was eventually saved by Van der Sar to clinch victory for United, Terry's unfortunate sprayed shot will remain the defining moment of the 2008 final in the memories of those who witnessed the match live in Moscow, and around the globe.
"It's a lonely, lonely place. It's very nerve-wracking and difficult."
Frank Lampard,
Chelsea midfielder
However Chelsea striker Didier Drogba may have sealed his side's fate three minutes before the end of extra time when his senseless slap on the face of United defender Nemanja Vidic resulted in the Ivorian's dismissal.
There is no doubt Drogba, an accomplished striker regardless of his volatile temperament, would have been Chelsea's fifth penalty taker just moments later, a role that was fatefully filled by centre-half Terry.
The rest, as they say, is history.
While there was no comment from Terry after the match, Frank Lampard, who scored Chelsea's equaliser and then also converted his penalty in the shoot-out, spoke to Al Jazeera's Carrie Brown about the agonising task of stepping up to the spot.
Cruel miss
"It's a lonely, lonely place. It's very nerve-wracking and difficult," Lampard said.
"That's why players miss.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is probably the best player in the world at the moment, not many would dispute that, and he missed. John Terry missed. Anyone can miss.
"That's how cruel it is. I have respect for anybody who stands up and takes a penalty in that situation."
Both teams had chances to win the match in the regulation 90 minutes, with Blues keeper Petr Cech saving numerous goal-bound chances from United, and Chelsea hitting the post and bar in the nearest of misses.
Forgettable memories
"You can not even look at your teammate's face because you know how everyone feels."
Salomon Kalou,
Chelsea forward
Salomon Kalou, Chelsea's Ivory Coast forward, described the scenes in the losing dressing room at the Luzhniki Stadium.
"Everyone was quiet and disappointed," Kalou told Al Jazeera.
"You can not even look at your teammate's face because you know how everyone feels.
"It's not every time you can reach the final of the Champions League. Today we had the chance to make it right, and we didn't so we are just sad."
Even before the match there was speculation that it would be Drogba's last in a Chelsea shirt, with a move to another European club beckoning in the summer. Sadly for him, he let his teammates and fans down, possibly hastening a forgettable exit from the London club.
Meanwhile Terry, once captain of England and still one of the most admired central defenders in the game, will now be remembered as the player who stepped up to win a Champions League crown, but paid the ultimate penalty.

Lampard played well for Chelsea.
The Red Devils were lucky after pretty boy missed the penalty.
Anyways, I'm happy the Red Devil's won. Another trophy. :D
