The mods and supermods and admin Shia work very hard on this website to keep it up and running and the biggest thanks goes out to them all
The staff at IDF have a very time consuming job moderating the forums and keeping them fair and making sure rules are followed to keep the forum fair and fun for all
They also have to constantly cleen up after spambots posting adverst or porn
The IDF staff are often unapreciated and taken for granted so i just wanted to say a Big Thanks to all Staff at IDF for all the hardwork they have done to make this forum the big success it is.....
Shia Excellence is the most devoted admin i have ever seen and deserve a big kudos for his commitment to IDF, im proud to call you my good friend Shia. Cheers Brother..
All the SuperMods devote many hours daily to the site as well as posting in threads and this forum wouldnt be great if it wasnt for you guys
The Mods who probably have the hardest job of all moderating the individual forums they preside over and making sure all threads are in order get a big thanks as well
All i can say is this forum continues to be a success due to its great staff and great members and big thanks to the staff for all your dedication and hardwork

Their are many Iranians in the Netherlands. And they are generally the immigrants with the highest level of education, IQ and jobs. Kader Abdollah, for instance, is a Iranian writer who immagrated to the Netherlands in 1988 and became a very succesful writer. :)

Yes, that is definetly right. The lowest educated are Africans (Angolese people, I believe). Alslo high are many Arabic people. 1.7 Million Dutch are Muslim, btw, of which many Dutch converts to Islam -- It's kinda interesting, isn't it; over 10% of population! :wub2:

Perhaps a little over 100,000; equal to the ammount of Jews in the Netherlands, but not as rich (they will be, someday). :wub2:
There are way more Muslims than Jews in Netherlands; I just read 74% of Dutch population is against Israel and sees it as number one threat to world peace! :D

I would certainly like that; sadly, the PVDA, our labour party (nr.2 biggest party), wishes to have a smaller army and give less money to Dutch military... :worried2:

That's true. But that doesn't mean I don't want my country to have a strong military! It's a thing which has to do with patriotism and prestige. :wub2:

You should see people do not want their countries to be protected by others; they want to be capable of defending it themselves; it's a matter of honour. :biggrin1:

I know. I was talking about things threatening the Netherlands (not Europe as a whole). And nothing is threatening the Netherlands, that's right. It's just the idea of not having to rely on others, what's it all about! :wub2:

We are. We allways try to remain as neutral as possible. We still have some allies, though, such as most European countries, and (sadly) the USA. :wub2:

I do not worry; I just want my country to be capable of defending itself instead of rely to much on order (wether this is considered wast of money or not). A matter of honour. :wub2:

The key question is, since the Netherlands are not facing external military threats and under the NATO collective, is it wise to spend so much money on her military when it could spend on the public?

The people are rich enough. And even if we were not, I'd rather live in poverty than to have a weak military! :huh2:

Hong Kong has a very small military presence, like 3 bases. So realistically it can easilly be invaded, but then again, the invading army would feel the wrath of China. :wub2:

As Neutral as can be, they joined the Korean War, the Yugoslavian War (were they were useless), the Afghanistan War and even the Iraq War, they are one of the only countries in the world to view Hizbollah as a terrorist organisation and already want to join the next war the US starts...
