Thanks for your input, but you have your opnions and other have their's. If others are not allowed to talk about Iran, then Iranians arn't allowed to talk about America or UK! Iranians claim the American and British foreign policy directly affects them, thats why they talk about it, i agree to it to some degree but then again the Iranian foreign policy affects the world too.

You are very confused, about your idea of democracy, you can't talk about democracy giving Iraq as an example, yes Iraq war is wrong i agree with that, but that doesn't make democracy a bad thing. People of Iraq are suffering, true, but that doesn't mean iran shouldn't work towards a democracy!

I sort of doubt that military action will be taken against Iran even if the Pentagon gets undeniable proof that nuclear weapons are being built. I hope not, anyway. It appears to me that the pro-democracy elements in Iran are in no way against the procuring of nuclear weapons: it at some point is a point of nationalistic pride. If and when it happens, I hope that Iran has reformed itself enough so that its government can be trusted not to use them, at least offensively.

The left is usually weak, but a war with America is futile. He knows and well as the people. Thats why it hasnt happened. The US has its hand in democracy around the world, we all know that. However with a country like Iran, American leadership would rather have the people push for it. The US intervention in Iran hasnt helpled thus far anyway. Obviously the push by the people hasnt been enough. :cool:

I know what the flag represents. It's the Iran I grew up in. Before the revolution Iran has always had a Shah. Don't get me wrong I don't agree with the Shah's regime but I don't agree with what Khomeini did to our beautiful country either.

Sorry for being off-topic but how the hell do I get rid of recieving emails everytime someone replies to threads I posted in, Im getting spammed!

I tried using the "Dont subscribe" in settings and "Dont recieve email"

Hi,

Click on usercp, then click on Edit options, then scroll to "Default Thread Subscription Mod" and click on do not subscribe,

if you already done this your simply getting emails from the threads you are already subscribed to! what you can do is unsubscribe to each thread by going on the email you got and clicking on the "unsubscribe link"
