the reall reason saudi is buying russian weapons is to compensate the russians for loss of weapons sales to iran. In return russia agrees to cooperate over iran and support further sanctions. Saudis dont have a problem with the west brittain is offering all the eurofighters they want france is begging it to buy its rafale usa has already sent a delegation to talk saudi over f-35 and offered the saudis 100 f-16 block 60s Usa is also selling it billlions in smart weapons.
