After the new UN resolution passed, Israel and Lebanese government will probably accept the deal, but the big question remains and it is how HA is going to react. UNSC resolution favours Israel in every and opposes HA in every way.
It clearly states that HA will have to halt its attacks immediately while Israel must halt them gradually.
The deployment of international troops clearly favours Israel, Nasrallah in hes last tape said that HA will not accept and international force.
There will be a weapons embargo on HA and it will be monitored by international troops.
HA will have to move to an area north of the Litani river while Lebanese army moves south.
HA will have to be disarmed and i dont really believe that HA would like that.
From this resolution Israel received everything it wanted. A full withdrawal of HA troops out of S.Lebanon, a international force in S.Lebanon accompanied by Lebanese army. A weapon embargo on the HA from Syria. A disarmament of HA.
On the other hand HA received nothing and it have two choices, one is to accept it and cease to exist as a military force, or reject it and fight but now it have to fight a full invasion of IDF.
What do you think it will do?
UNSC resolution

Great question! Yes, on the surface Israel got what it wanted but you need to dig a little deeper. What you have failed to mention is that Israel also got universal anger & hatred towards her. There is way too much anger and I'm afraid of extremist activities by a desperate few who have nothing more to lose.
So, what does this mean? Simply you got some brownie points, but IMHO you did not get what you really wanted which is long lasting peace!

People who dont care about politics and war in general have been drawn into this crisis watching it unfold.
Israel hasnt done itself any favours, but then again when has israel Ever done itself or the world any good?
Ehud Olmert said "we will turn the clock back 20yrs in lebanon" and yes his un-relentless and ruthless bombing/murdering campaign was correct...
But has he realized how far back and how high the hatred his people will recieve now after this?
did he take that into account?

Nasrallah: We will uphold ceasefire as long as hostile operations are stopped
Hizbullah leader, Hasan Nasrallah, said in a speech broadcast on Hizbullah's television network al-Manar that "if a date for halting all hostile operations is agreed upon, Hizbullah will uphold this decision." (Ynet)

The head of Hizbullah, Hasan Nasrallah, said, "The problem with the Security Council resolution is that it does not include an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of IDF forces."
"We must not be mistaken in thinking that the war is over. The war is not over and proof of this is that the Israeli aggression continues," said Nasrallah. (Ynet)
As he wish

At the end of the day this statistic really doesn't matter. 95 percent that hate will just hate. The only few percent that may matter is the famous islamic terrorist.
The truth of the matter is just like in Lebanon when a country goes up against Israel they will suffer more.Maybe if the US hated Israel than it would matter.
70 percent of america don't like pres bush, but does it really matter? No not really.

Perhaps it would matter if they would had lost their home, a relative, immediate family, or a limb!
From a civilized West way, Cindy Sheehan is a good example. I would say her dislike for Bush is slightly on the hatred side. Just imagine if there were thousands of Cindy's! And that's the current situation in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. all their hatred is pointed towards the United States of Israel!:baffled3:
