Iranian scientists have received the special award of the 59th international trade fair 'Ideen - Erfindungen - Neuheiten' in Germany.

The blood bank of Qazvin from Iran, won 2 special awards and the silver medal of the IENA exhibition for manufacturing a device which produces, stores and separates blood from its products.

The device provides blood banks where technicians can perform cross matches, barcodes and other such procedures in room temperature while the plasma is stored in -40 centigrade.

Using the device, there is no need for to work in would reduce the cold injury. In addition,

Technicians no longer need to work in spring houses, which reduces cold injuries. The device also prevents any decrease in plasma temperature which causes denaturation of instable coagulation factors and fibrinogen.

Some 800 inventions and innovative products from 34 countries competed in the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, which is the world's leading trade show for marketing inventions and product innovations.

Iran shines at Innova Energy 2007

Iranian inventors and scientists receive ten prestigious awards at the 56th International Innova Energy technology fair in Brussels.

The fair allows the coming together of various experts to examine the latest novelties (services and technological); to attend symposiums and exchange information on various effective energy solutions.

The First Institute of Innovators of Iran presented some 26 projects on mechanics, electronics, nano-and-biotechnology.

An energy saving system for oil and gas and a project related to the auto-motive industry won gold medals at the important event.

Delegations from more than 30 countries offered over 600 patented inventions and new ideas to the exhibit.

All in all, the Iranian delegation walked away with three gold and three silver medals as well of a diploma of merit at exhibit.
