there is a reason the US has a congressional ban on the export of f-22s. while it is selling the f-35 to a whole bunch of countries.

The cockpit, HUD and helmet of F-35 is more advanced than that of F-22A. Thats a fact. Avionics and radar of F-35 might be less capable, but the cockpit is def. more advanced.

Nothing strange. F-35 is much younger machine. Its avionics is more advanced. F-22 electronics upgrade will use F-35 electronics. I think that explain who have better avionics. F-22 is better air superiority figther. But in multirole F-35 is better. And multirole is what most countries want. I dont think F-22 radar is better in technological therm (F-35 radar probable use newer modules) but F-22 provide more power and have larger nose and those two gave range advantage.

what you saying is totally right but you forgot to add that if any of these countries that their selling the f35 to does anything they dont like or what not....all they have to do is enter some code (22-54532523-123123123-123123213-12341234) into some computer & it will disable the plane. they done it to previous planes. for example Saudi Arabia.

Doubt he has evidence. But i am almost certain america has thought about the possibility of one day having to go up against the f-35

They would be incredibly stupid and naive not to have some sort of back up plan.

Especially since a muslim majority country like turkey will be getting them.

Oh! I misunderstood you.

Vast majority of technologies on F-22 are indeed superior to those on F-35. Cockpit however isnt one of them. Just by looking at F-22 pit + the helmet, you can see that 35 is more advanced.

Advanced cockpits provide eye candy, but don't necessarily make it a better fighter. Far more important are the LRU's, the "black boxes" that do the work; radar, ECM, RWR, etc.

A display is simply a display. It is the data fed to the display that is important, not the display itself.
