The ones that survived the invasion havent been destroyed
Lots are lying derelict around airfields in Iraq which i have many pics of and have posted a few and will be posting more
Some intact aircraft are now in the coalition countries as war booty
For example the Australian SAS captured and Iraqi airfield during the invasion with over 60 intact aircraft camoflaged and buried
This Mig-25 is now in Australia and will be going on display most likely at the S.A.S Perth Base
These pics were taken during the invasion when 67 Australian S.A.S soldiers captured an Iraqi Airfield defended by over 1000 troops

why did they move an intact mig to australia for display ? wouldnt it be useful for the future iraqi airforce?

most of the old iraqi airforce could be found at mehrabad in iran though.

Not really useful for the Future Iraqi Airforce
Its a big interceptor and its very dated now not to mention its been highly neglected
I think the first fighter Iraq gets in the future will most likely be either second hand US F-16's or maybe even second hand French Mirage F1's

i think the first plan to surve in the new iraqi airforce would be the F-16 BLOCK 60, because by the time they will buy planes the latest F-16 would become outdated
