If you're so proud of the Islamic Republic, why post a bunch of pictures of bad-hejabi women with makeup? I'd think hotties in Chador and Neqab would more likely be in your taste.

Here comes the old flash-in-a-pan poster.

Says two or three words and runs off into the wilderness again.

This thread makes no mention of religion, if you can actually read the title, it says Iran and its people, he posted pictures of people, lots of different types of Iranians.

Oh I've missed you too!

I'm only worried that he's portraying a negative picture of Iran, since most of the women in the pictures are breaking the law, one way or another.
I just find it amusing that hardcore supporters of the Islamic Regime are posting pictures pretty much screaming "Look, we're western and "modern" like you!!!".

Again I will explain

The thread is designed to show all the different types of people you may come accross in Tehran and Iranian cities.

This thread has zero relevance or discussion about 'Hardcore Islamic supporters' until you came along

See you soon, Khoda Hafiz.

Listen to shia excellence, plus i post these to show everyone that iran is not what the west potrays it to be. Unlike you i actually like to show my country in a positive way to everyone, i posted these pics in another forum aswell which has alot of hardcore anti islamic republic people and they said great pictures, your the only one that seems to have a complaint about everything.
Like shia said, it has nothing to do with politics and religion.

EATING OUT

____________________________________________________________ _____

A new venture

Iranian Saman Jilanchi and Canadian chef Larry Greenwood have introduced haute cuisine and first class service to Iran.
They have opened a new restaurant in Tehran called Bistango – International Cuisine.

^^THE OWNER AND CHEF^^

Experimentation

"The food is basically a fusion of many different cultures and flavours," Larry says.

"The biggest problem is that in Iran there's no alcohol and that was a huge dilemma.
"I wasn't too sure how I was going to tackle that at first. I've improvised! "When I got here I learned there are many different fruits, so I go to markets and I think 'Oh, I'll try this'. A lot of experimenting was just to see if it works. If yes then great, if not, then back to scratch."

IRANIAN WILDLIFE & LANDSCAPE/FAUNA

Wildlife of Iran includes its flora and fauna and their natural habitats. One of the most famous members of wildlife in Iran are the world's last surviving, critically endangered Asiatic Cheetah also known as the Iranian Cheetah, which are today found nowhere else but in Iran. Iran had lost all its Asiatic Lion and the now extinct Caspian Tigers by the earlier part of the twentieth century.
Bears in the mountains, wild sheep and goats, gazelles, wild asses, wild pigs, wolves, jackals, panthers, and foxes abound. Domestic animals include sheep, goats, cattle, horses, water buffalo, donkeys, and camels. The pheasant, partridge, stork, Eagles and falcon are native to Iran.
The Persian leopard is said to be the largest of all the subspecies of leopards in the world. The main range of this species in Iran closely overlaps with that of Bezoar Ibex. Hence, it is found throughout Alborz and Zagros mountain ranges, as well as smaller ranges within the Iranian plateau. Leopard population is very sparse, due to loss of habitat, loss of natural prey, and population fragmentation. Apart from Bezoar Ibex, wild sheep, boar, deer (either Maral red deer or roe deer), and domestic animals constitute leopards' diet in Iran.
More than one-tenth of the country is forested. The most extensive growths are found on the mountain slopes rising from the Caspian Sea, with stands of oak, ash, elm, cypress, and other valuable trees. On the plateau proper, areas of scrub oak appear on the best-watered mountain slopes, and villagers cultivate orchards and grow the plane tree, poplar, willow, walnut, beech, maple, and mulberry. Wild plants and shrubs spring from the barren land in the spring and afford pasturage, but the summer sun burns them away. According to FAO reports [1], the major types of forests that exist in Iran and their respective areas are:
  1. Caspian forests of the northern districts (33,000 km²)
  2. Limestone mountainous forests in the northeastern districts (Juniperus forests, 13,000 km²)
  3. Pistachio forests in the eastern, southern and southeastern districts (26,000 km²)
  4. Oak forests in the central and western districts (100,000 km²)
  5. Shrubs of the Kavir (desert) districts in the central and northeastern part of the country (10,000 km²)
  6. Sub-tropical forests of the southern coast (5,000 km²) like the Hara forests.
More than 2,000 plant species are grown in Iran. The land covered by Iran’s natural flora is four times that of the Europe’s.

Golden Jackal of Iran.

No its beef, Lamb and Chicken. Pork is not allowed in muslim countries, even secular places like Turkey.

In regards to 'billboards, fancy cars and ads' are they not allowed or do they need your permission

(there is not a single country in the entire planet that doesnt have a billboard, a nice car or an advert)
